We aim to do this by organising hospitals and centres (e.g. clinics) where the birth occurs into centres within a 10-mile radius. Each zone will have a representative (midwife) who will collect mortality and morbidity statistics and feedback on a monthly basis via MASSAI app where such information can be easily uploaded. Details of each case will also be summarised in more detail to see where there are recurring themes that need urgent addressing.
